Oh, it’s been long road

Well, it is finally here; the 2008 - 2009 telephone directory and yellow pages. The most striking feature is obviously the front cover, this year Cable and Wireless elected to use the very talented Nadia Huggins ( she also designed last years directory). The cover sports a picture mosaic, which consists of many photos of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Carnival arranged to show a large costume on-stage. It brings the theme (the spirit of Carnival) to life, as each individual photo was carefully chosen to showcase this festival and the people who bring it to life, the photos were supplied by Dougie Joseph.

As usual , it contains all the fixed line customers in the white pages, Business listings in the yellow pages as well as Government listings in the blue pages, I am very pleased to see photos of some staff adorning the introductory pages and the advertisements, it shows a personal touch as customers can know that while as an international company, Cable and Wireless maintains a local presence run by dedicated employees who are diligent in providing a high degree of service to all customers.

One other helpful feature is the inclusion of email addresses in the yellow pages for businesses, it also sports a hurricane tracking map and preparedness tips for residents. Congratulations to the local marketing team who has made the 2008 - 2009 telephone directory a true collector’s item.
